Cafe Eggstatic: Bird’s Nest Bubble Tea

The first time I went to Cafe Eggstatic, it was POURING rain outside. Looking back now, I must have been crazy to get a cold drink on a day like that. But the good thing was that I didn’t have to line up at all!

Egg Waffle:

Their egg waffle is very chewy with a strong egg flavour but doesn’t exhibit a particularly crispy exterior. Over time, it starts getting soggy.

Bird’s Nest Mango Coconut Slush:

Oooh how fancy with the bird’s nest ;) This tasted predominantly of mango rather than coconut. It wasn’t too sweet and I enjoyed the smooth consistency of the slush. The small scoop of bird’s nest doesn’t have a strong flavour so it was mostly put on top of the drink for aesthetic purposes.

Bird’s Nest Coconut Slush:

I paid another visit a few weeks later because I was grocery shopping at Crystal Mall. This time, there was even less bird’s nest than there was last time. As well, it had a thinner consistency that didn’t seem like slush viscosity. This one was much cleaner in taste with a refreshing coconut flavour.

Cafe Eggstatic’s menu is dedicated to egg waffles and specialty bubble tea drinks. It does take quite a while to get your order because even with no other customers, I still had to wait for about 10 minutes. They also have a loyalty program with stamp cards to encourage customers to come back.
