Tamarind Hill: Better to Dine Early!

I wanted to try out Tamarind Hill for lunch after seeing that there were pretty high ratings for this restaurant! However, I had to replace a camera lens that I accidentally broke (oops!) and it took FOREVER to get someone to help me at Best Buy. Not impressed. By the time I got to Tamarind Hill, it was already 2PM and some of the menu items were already sold out :(

Roti Canai (1 piece):

Normally, the order comes with 2 pieces but they only had one left. It was nice and chewy but not very flaky.

Tofu Goreng:

The tofu was crispy and surprisingly light-tasting with the addition of cucumber, bean sprouts, and lettuce.

Nasi Goreng:

The nasi goreng was fragrant and the rice was cooked well, not too soft or wet. Ample amount of ingredients.

Char Kuey Teow:

The char kuey teow was quite oily but there was also a very strong impact of flavours.

Tamarind Hill has a pretty extensive menu but I did find that the portion sizes were on the smaller end. Also, it’s best to eat earlier since they run out of certain items after peak dining times.
