So my family isn’t that big on Taiwanese food. And as for outings with friends, we usually end up at Bubble World because of convenience. What does that mean when I want to explore different restaurants? I have no choice but to go by myself. And that’s exactly what I did for my visit to Corner 23!
Five Spice Beef Wrap:
The five spice beef wrap had tender beef encased in a crispy and chewy green onion pancake.
The dumplings were crispy on the outside with a juicy pork filling on the inside.
Braised Pork Sauce with Egg on Rice:
Honestly, the lu rou fan alone could be a light meal for most people! The portion size was pretty good with a generous amount of flavourful and fatty braised pork. Mmm… it was just pure comfort food.
Corner 23 definitely serves some delicious Taiwanese food. As I’m writing this, I’m craving that lu rou fan again… The restaurant is quite small though and feels a bit cramped when busy so I would avoid going during peak meal times.
