Dragon Ball Tea House: You Have to Try Their Fresh Lychee Slush!

I know, I know, it’s been a long time since my last post. But good news is, the bulk of my volunteer work is finally wrapping up and I don’t have to work anymore! After all that hard work, I think a delicious, cold bubble tea is just the thing that I need to relax and actually start enjoying summer :)

Fresh Lychee Slush with Coconut Jelly:

Oh my goodness, this was delicious. Sweet and bursting with actual notes of lychee, I would definitely recommend this drink. There was also plenty of lychee chunks scattered throughout the drink. Extremely refreshing, no watered-down flavours at all, and definitely better when made with the real thing!

Japanese Green Tea Slush with Pearls:

One sip of this and it strangely brought back a sense of nostalgia. This drink tasted exactly like the green tea ice cream that my mother used to buy for us during the hot summer days during my childhood. Very weird. A bit too sweet for my taste but the green tea taste was prominent and this was still a pretty good drink. The pearls were soft and chewy, soaked in a nice amount of syrup.

In general, I really like the drinks at Dragon Ball Tea House. They taste delicious and the fresh fruit bubble teas are to die for. The only negative comment I have would be the large crowd and long wait. This is a very small place, so expect to wait for quite a bit before receiving your drink. And getting tables will be a challenge too!
